Sam, I'd just like to add another point that most people probably don't know about the 968 rockers. One of the main reasons Porsche added them to the 968 AND 964, was to prevent de-galvanisation on the rocker panel from rock chips sandblasting. My 951 was down to the bare metal around the rocker area from gravel and dirt. I'm sure there are many out there that are in worse shape. The plastic 968 rocker panels are awsome because they wear down before the metal on your chassis gets so much as touched by a piece of dirt. Ergo, less rust problems... and it's cheaper to remove the rockers and respray them, than to spray your whole rear quarter panel!

Something to think about!!!

BTW, I think you should get rim of them. You don't need them since you don't drive on gravel roads. I on the other hand, could make much better use of them. Sell them to me.

If you are going for looks, I would say get GT Racing rockers...they flow well with an AIR splitter...and line perfectly into the rear valence...

I almost bought these. Actually, I was in line behind you if the deal fell through. I am not 100% sure I like them now. Is it just me or does the paint not quite match?

If you are going for a unique look..yea.
But this is an upgrade I (like most) was considering...but I think I can hold off now
Color is obviously an important factor with red they catch way too much light.
With a dark color car it adds a subtle highlight to the cars lines.

I think it will look great, and once you get the handles and mirrors it will look even better. The only thing i dont like is the rear of the car, those rockers make it look to far up from the ground. If there is anything you can do with the rear bumper it would be perfect, thats if you install the rockers.
On a side note, your car is HOOOOOOOOOOT!
Heres another pic of those nice wheels.

Sam,
You've got a bolt in Roll bar installed.
Does it help in stiffening up the chassis ?

If you're planning on doing the mirrors and handles, then yes, the rockers look alot better with them...I think that's why that black car posted earlier looks so great. The mirrors really set the whole package off well.

Hmm Im not sure if I like that. Although if you paint the door pillar to match the car like on the 968 that might help.

Once you get the 968 mirrors on there, it will look great.
