Whoa it looks like ***. I dont know if its because the line is changed as the 968 rear bumper flows... or if its the red. I think its the red, its not conducive to many exterior mods I dont think, IMHO.

My car is a walking 968 wannbe, mirrors, handles, hatch and spoiler, door panels, rear quarter panels, temp gauge, console tray, and the rockers were next on the list! I am not sure now... Maybe they will look better in Zermatt on my car, but red looks not good. I may even looks at modding the 996 one to fit, I think it will look awesome... here is a pic of it.

PS I have your headlight cover now!

I think something styled from some of these may UPDATE the look.

Quick'n'dirty PS taking the side strips off and touching up the rockers. Was going to put 968 mirrors and door handles on there but couldn't quickly find a decent source pic.

(sorry for the digression off of the topic at hand)

Kevin, if you can wait until this winter, you can have mine for free when I remove them (car will be stripped for painting then).

I can wait thanks. Darn previous owner painted mine and now the paint is flaking off and looks like ***. I'm going to take them off and see if I can do anything to make them look better, but I doubt it.

It is okay. Not sure I love it and I dont hate it.

Part of the equation that people are complaining about is the rear bumper. Sam has a non-stock bumper which adds to the look you are seeing. I cant remember if it is the GT racing bumper or the stock Euro bumper but it is about 2 inches shorter than stock which helps create the look that the back end is high. In person it looks INCREDIBLE and makes the stock lower splitter look like a piece off a race car. Seriously cool stuff.

I think I like them

The issue I see, is that since they stick out further from the car theyre going to get MORE chewed up by sand and such. The very corners of my rear wheel arches had the paint sandblasted off. With those sticking further out into the path...

Edit: my bad, I meant Sam. Chris reposted the pics and I quickly looked at the sig, which of course was wrong. Sorry Chris, me no like. However, since it's your ride "do whatcha like". Car looks great otherwise!

I think it'll work if yuo remove the door trim.

But then, what next? a 968 kit on the rear?
