Anybody use this stuff? I've heard that it can be bad for some A/C systems. Some people say it works great, others said it does nothing. I'll probably get my system filled with real R12 since I'm done half-assing repairs on this car, but just wanted to see some reviews on this product.

I'm running it, and I like it.
It is much cheaper than R12, but keep in mind that it doesn't blow as cold as R12 does.
Also, once you put Freeze12 in the system, you can never go back to R12.

Ditto what Cyrus says. It's doesn't run as cold and does seem to get past seals faster than R-12. It's better IMHO than a R-134 conversion. Nothing beats a leak free R-12 system, but then again I get my R-12 from Mexico so topping off isn't an isssue.

Dmitry,
If the system is completely drained just install new seals and a drier. Getting it vacced and checked for leaks isn't that bad, they can put in the UV dye and tell if the seals on the compressor are leaking at that point. The Freeze 12 uses a different oil, any residual R-12 lube will turn to gel if not vacced first. The bad thing aboutFreeze 12 is once you have it in there not many shops will touch it with a vac/recycler. If you don't tell them it's Freeze 12 trust me they will know it and charge you accordingly because they will have to flush their equipment.IMHO find your leaks, fix them, and stay with R-12...you'll be good for years.

I aggree with Kuhl. Stay with r12 or go to 134A. 134A is more prone to leaks because the molecules are smaller. Most shops now have refigerant analyzers that will tell them what you have in it. Freeze 12 is a blended ref. They make oils now that are compatible with most ref but I would stick with the two that are most popularand available.
