Pics of my modified rear light panel
Well, the PO put the stupid "turbo" light panel on my car. I hate it. As if it wasn't poser-enough, the 'O' has a tail on it!! I am guessing this was due to the fear of legal action for copying the exact turbo badge. Since holes were drilled for this, I really have no choice for taking it off; unless of course I had body and paint work done. Here is what it looked like before:
Today I took the panel off, and pulled it apart. I noticed the turbo script was just paint, so I used nail polish remover to scrub it off. (I had to go to the store and buy some, since my gf only uses that non acetone crap.) After that, I gave it a shot of testors model paint, to try to get it to match the tail lights better.
Notice the tail on the letter 'o'
Finished product:
Sorry I have been quite the picture-***** lately, but my gf just bought a new camera!

Much better.
You ought to measure the inside, and do some cool graphic in vinyl and place it on the inside .
Or just do the turbo script correctly, get some vinyl stickers and put them on the inside.
Go with Turbo script or Porsche...as long as you are going to use it.

I've got a rear panel with "turbo" (proper script - no tail) on it. I am one of the few that likes these things, but I'm not willing to mar my GT bumper with the tag bracket.
