Default Still in need of a strut tower....

I had some offers a while back and nothing panned out as of yet. Of course, about a month ago I got pretty heavily distracted for a couple of weeks so if I dropped the ball on any offers, just smack me and let me know.

Basically I'm looking for a strut tower cut from a car being scrapped. I don't even need the full length of the tower. See below for what I"m looking for.

If anyone is getting ready to scrap a 944 (or 924 or 951) chassis and you'd be willing to give/sell a tower to me, I'd appreciate it. I'm working on designing something for my race car (I'll keep it a secret for the moment, but I'll share what I"m doing if I'm successful) and need a tower.

Is a 924 strut tower the same? If so, you can come over and cut one off of my parts car........

I believe it is. I may take you up on it. Not sure when I can get there at this point. This weekend I'm doing a belt job and the following two weekends I'll be in Anchorage.

Can you get a digipix, or can someone else confirm it's the same?

Carl, that would be awesome!

Any chance I could get just the piece outlined below (don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth as they say)? If not, that's fine. That would be great.

Hopefully I'll be prepping my car for paint soon. I'm already tearing stuff out of the engine bay and hope to be dropping the drivetrain before long.

George, I'll have to borrow a saw zaw, so you'll have to give me at least to the end of the weekend.

Don't go too out of your way. I'm trying to get the part drawn now, but in a week I'll be in Anchorage for 10 days. It'll be 3 weeks realistically before I can even think about using it.

I'm just trying to make arrangements.

Cool. I may have to take you up on that regardless. I need to get out of town some weekend, if only for a day even.
