I dont think I would want "lemon" associated with my car in any way. I think "speed" yellow sends a better message
I'm not a big fan of Yellow anyway- thats my opinion. However everytime I see your car Damian I do think twice..

Haha! Yea I was digging through the Clark's Garage last night and saw that in 1987 there were a bunch of changes to the available colors including a "lemon yellow". It's one of the ones I've never seen on a 944 before and was just wondering what it looked like.
It constantly amazes me how wonderfully these cars can pull off odd colors that would look like garbage on virtually any other car. The lines / shape really compliment a lot of exotic / weird color schemes. There are still a few that I inherently don't like, such as a lot of the brown / earth tones and golds, but some are amazing. Ever see a pearl white 951? Wow! Silver Rose Metallic is pretty nice also. And Guards Red (of course), Alpine White, and a few of the blues. . . I actually really like that yellow. I'd get it in a heartbeat. More visibility on the track never hurt and frankly red cars are getting dime-a-dozen now. Friggin' HONDAS come in red half the time now. Not much yellow out there though. . .

The summer yellow 968 coupe is for sale (paint to sample, special order) plus there is the speed yellow mo30 968 coupe for sale in the 968 board here . . . I was tempted, (then I could start DE's again) but wifey overruled me.

My wife did not care for the color (LY5U Glacier Metallic) and was been pushing me to repaint, but now the color has grown on her. She thinks it's pretty cool how it shows silver in the sun, but almost purple/blue at dusk.

Wait I thought they came in red haha... I once seen a 944 in some type of yellow. I didn't like it but the car was also trashed so it look crappy anyways.
