Yeah, it's going in the carriage house. I'm putting it in the back and running a hose to a reel in the middle of the ceiling. I should be able to reach anything from there.

SWEET!!! That will make life easy. Did you get some air tools to go with it? If not, before you do check out the pawn shops, you can almost always get good air tools there.

Hey Matt:
Look at the base of the compressor and you'll see the air tool kit
The compressor is a 7hp twin cylinder with a 60 gallon tank. It puts out 13.4 CFM @ 90 psi and 11.7 CFM @ 40. Operating psi is 125-155. It was $399 at Menard's (a home improvement center in IL and MI) with an 8% discount b/c Menard's is sponsoring Dale Earnhardt, Jr (#8 NASCAR). I need to run 220 to the back of the carriage house for installation, hopefully this weekend. I'll post pics of the finished product!

What, no paint gun? With that carriage house we could set up a paint booth
Make sure the doors on that thing lock.

While you are getting the gun get a blast cabinet, they are cheap (less than 200 bucks) and it makes cleaning too easy. SO worth the money. Hmmm...maybe when I am done with this insurance company I will buy my own shop. J/K (though they did call a few minutes ago to "regretfully inform me the car was a total loss"...no fing joke!)

Three Wheelin'
Congratulations! I do not think it is big enough. You need a moisture separator, and a way to oil the tools. I use an inline oiler on a short whip with a swivel that works well.
The engine gasket sets are missing several seals and o-rings. I never remember to keep track of which ones. If memory serves, the following are missing:
oprv o-ring 999.707.145.40 for an '86 with the one piece valve (if you have a three piece, you do not need this)
o-ring for the dipstick tube ?
crush ring for the oil t-stat 900.123.136.30
crush rings for the fittings that the oil lines connect to 900.123.011.30 (4 ea)
factory oil pickup tube seal 944.107.136.03 (the clear ones melt)
turbo drain o-rings 900.174.058.40 (2 ea)
turbo oil supply o-ring 999.707.043.40 (1 ea)
turbo drain line to oil pan 900.123.049.30 (2 ea)
crush ring at KLR line to intake N 013.807.2 (3 ea)
crush ring at KLR line to KLR 959.618.116.00 (2 ea)
Here are some more parts to buy:
oil pump drive gear 944.107.161.02
camshaft spacer 928.105.139.04 (1ea, be sure the seal is a 32mm x 47mm)
balance shaft spacers 928.105.139.02 (2 ea)
tensioner mounting stud 944.102.216.01 (1 ea)
lock nuts for the rollers N 022.149.2 (3 ea)
Add rollers and your favorite water pump to the mix
