Thanx Geo. I really love it. We've put a lot of work into it. The original doors and entry way were rotted and falling down (hence the teardown remark). We had to totally rebuild the opening and had the doors custom made in WI. When we finish framing and adding the hardware, they'll look like swinging doors but retract like regular garage doors
Mike:
The toys arrived today! I couldn't believe how fast they got here and thought the FedEx guy was going to the neighbor's! I'll get the $ to you ASAP.
WIzkid918:
I know nearly nothing about painting, but I am going to give it a stab. Thanx for the pointers.
Hosrom:
I'll do what I can. I'll probably be doing more question asking than documentation

It is great for my needs right now.
My 951 wth 124k is still a better handling car however. Really this car makes me apperciate how good a stock a 88 Turbo S really is.
here are a couple pics.
Michelle sorry for the hi jack .
As you can see from the pics no room for a "carriage house"
I do like your!

And even though I have 3 fluid caps for my gun, I won't shoot primer with it, so you might want a seperate somewhat cheaper primer only gun.
if you get a gun that requires 16cfm at the gun, and your compressor can only provide 12 after correct plumbing... i hope you like wet sanding, in some cases i believe a less expensive gun will provide better results given a certain setup.
so they key is to get a nice gun, but dont get something that your compressor cant feed

NISsport bought our new toy today....
Same specs as Michelle's except we had to pay $30 more from Northern Tool. We have to get it hooked up now.....
We also bought a fridge and a water cooler for the shop. Forgot the car dollies, but we'll get those this week along with a microwave. Once we get the AC unit installed we'll be in hog heaven.
[edit] It appears to be the exact same unit - campare the two

Too cool! I'm headed out now to do the electrical work (my help was held up). Hope to have it finished tomorrow. I'll post picks when done. Congrats on the new compressor!

You too!
I'm looking forward to your pix. Are you going to hardwire it or install a plug (I'm assuming that like ours, yours didn't come with a plug).
I'll post some photos next week of our shop once we get the cars in. We're getting there.

George, I found a store just for guys like you. It is called the "Garage Store." No joke, they specialize in lifts, they have a bunch in their showroom ready for delivery, they have compressors, flooring, cabinets, everything you need. So nice....had to go in!! Kind of like an interior design center for garages!
