they didn't, he's just got Type-R sticker fever. Putting a RUF decal on a 951 and spraypainting the bumpers doesn't make it a RUF. This guy needs a lecture fromt he Rennlist community.

BS BS BS BS BS.

No such thing. Stig said it right, it's like a Type-R sticker for a Porsche.
The fact that it's an american import gives it away, RUF cars are built in Germany.
And painted bumper pads look retarded IMO.

Lets just say that they had, knowing full well that they haven't. Why would they use the decal like that? Seriously, that looks retarded.

You wont find a Porsche badge on a Ruf car since Ruf is the manufacturer.

Correct! Ruf is considered a manufacturer.

sheesh...if they're gonna fake it atleast they could use green on black gauges and a decent steering wheel. not to mention all the gauge and manufacture exclusitivity issues already mentioned.

one question about the Porsche hood emblem vs Ruf...aren't many of the "Ruf" cars here in America just engines/trannies sent out to Ruf mechanics? Do you get new badges too, even though you're car IS a Porsche with a Ruf engine?

If I had a RUF I'd put a Porsche badge on the front and a RUF on the rear decklid that way when I'm owning someone they're gonna say "holy sh*t that's a RUF!!!"

No one said that when xsboost had the same exact thing...

Everyone is so quick to flame - a bit rediculous at times.

I've read time and time again on the various Porsche forums that RUF never, ever, ever, never did anything with the 924/944/968 series, like they do with the 911s. Now, there was a 944 bodykit produced by RUF, very, very rare these days. Pity too, it's a good looking body kit, and the 944 series needs more of those, less rice body kits.

ruf is a manufacturer but they also tune cars....it is stated that the car has engine tuning and suspension modifications...ruf wouldn't take all the porsche badges off unless they built the car from the ground up
