Well, not just yet. Maybe this fall. If I can find a better job in this lousy city maybe I can look at 968's.

Jobs are hard to come by here and I can't move to another area, my 4 yr. old daughter is here and if I move I'll hardly ever get to see her and that is totally unacceptable.

As long as you don't get a mullet you can! There is only room for one mullet on this board.

sorry to see it go, it is a beautiful car. I was planning on posting what a nice job XS did with the paint, and bumper, and how nice it looked when I saw it. Guess the new owner will/has seen for himself.

My gray S2 is nicer than my red S2 was, plus it cost less. Another nice one will come your way. Hug your daughter, and know since it is for her (my guess) it is the right decision. My Firebird is for sale because I would rather spend time with my daughter than just about anything else. I think you feel the same way.

Wow...**** see what happens when I'm off the list for a day!!! Damn shame you had to sell.......trust me I know it sucks, but a little financial freedom and the ability to stay close to your daughter will make it all worth it. I hope she has found a good home!

Hey Pete,

If you feel the need to drive a Porsche, you're welcome to come up and take your old girl for a drive.

Sorry to hear you had to sell Pete but I'm glad it sold that quickly for you. Man this has to be fastest sell of a 944 ever. The price was right for that car with all the great care it received from you. Someone got a great deal and hopefully it was a rennlister that bought it and it will be taken care of really well. I can't wait to find out who bought it. Post soon very soon. Pete I hope you still stick around as the moderator here. As we all know it we are always either Porsche owners or inbetween ownership.

I'll let the new owner answer that.

Actually, my daughter will probably be mad at me. She loves that car!

I'm inclined to think the new owner already answered that...

I actually would sell my 02 GTI just to buy this car from you. I'll have to run around for a coupla days till the end of the week and see if everything figures out and i'll send you a concrete IM.
This car simply looks like my plan with the 84 and since i'm going through a lot of school work( 20+ credits every semester) i can save a lot of time and frustration.
Even if i can't figure anything out i wish you GL with the sale and financial cituation.

Vlad.

Update: SENDING IM RIGHT NOW.

Pete....my daughter cried the day the 924S was being hauled away to be painted. The car was even coming back!!! When she found out that I was selling it a few months ago....It was no not "Porshey", you can't sell it Dada. Well...I was able to convince her that someday we will have another Porsche as nice as the 924S. Honestly...4 months later I think she has forgotten completely!!!! Lucky me, I hope you have the same luck!
