Default Going to Louisville to pick up a car Sat, anybody for lunch., and do you know this ca

I got this car off of ebay. Going this Sat to pick it up. If anyone wants to meet for lunch, let me know. I will actually be going over the state line and gettting off at Exit 1. Also, do any of you guys up there know this car. It is a theft recovery and has the ingition switch tore out of it. Not sure if I'm going to part it put it back. Depends on the cost of fixing the rear damage and the front damgae.

I will be in Indiana, looking at a 924s in a junkyard with a buddy of mine, we can have lunch with you, he is a local 944 guy as well!
we'll drive the porsches...
need any of my parts while your down here?...

I checked with a bunch of people, never seen the car before, it wasn't the one I was thinking of...
Looks promising though!

I just hope that whom ever raped it didn't blow the engine in the process.

what is the deal with that thing, 16" FUchs, 911 or something on an S. Late offset with different wheels or does it have early offset on a late car?

I'm assuming they are aftermarket. I was concerned about that at first, then airbop ran a car fax and it came back correct. It is a 88 S. If you look at the front wheel, you can see, it still has the late offset. I just wish the panel in the back wasn't caved in.

I still have the tub from the 86 951 and the 86NA that I'm parting now. I'm not sure what the cost will be to cut the panels cut out and the good one welded back in. I know if I put it back together, I would rather replace the panels instead of trying to use that much filler. I know already that if I put it back together, I will have to have a valance and header panel. If I didn't need them, I would probley have 2 of each laying around!!!! But I sold the only 2 header panels I had in the last month and the only 2 good valances I had!! In the pics it looks too good to have to part it out. I just hate the thoughts of having to put one down for a little body work.

didn't know if you needed a clean tub to cut patch pannels from? I know you pick up quite a few wrecks and didn't know if you had the needed parts.

I do appreciate the offer, Andy. Like I said, It goes against me so much to have to part one due to it needing body work. I'm feel comfortable that once I replace the ingition switch, it will fire right up. The guy that I'm buying it from, spoke to the lady that owned it, and said it ran great with no problems.

I would SO meet up, but I will be back in Murfreesboro by then... That car looks familiar to one I saw about 6 months ago for sale, the pin stripe and all...but I don't think it's it.

It is now in Jeffersonville, In. Just across the line. I have to get off at exit 1 , go right, and go about 20 miles. The place is on the left.
