Classified-for sale
Hi, do we card-carrying members have acess to a Rennlist classified section? Looking to upgrade the P-car to a turbo. I thought I found it once, but I can't find it now.
Also I want to send Jen money for 2005, how do I do this?

Yep, look at the top right corner of this thread, theres a link that says classifieds.
Also if you PM jenn she shouldf be able to give you that info, or go to membership and (near classifieds at the top) and see if it lets you there.

Actually I have the same problem on my main home computer I can't see the Classified listing at all from any of the screens.
There is an entry in the Support forum of the Rennlist site that states that this is likely a problem with my firwall or pop up blocker, but I've tried messing with the settings and I cannot get the classified listing to appear. It does appear when using one of my other machines so clearly this is software dependant.
I'm running XP with the latest version of Internet explorer and also Norton Internet Security. If someone knows how to get this straightened out I'd love to hear from you.

Does anyone else think a more active classifieds would be a good thing around here? I view the bimmerforums.com classifieds as much or more than I do the discussion portions of the site. But our classifieds are hidden/unpopular for some reason.
You could make them "members only visible" like the OT forum if you wanted. But just make a couple of categories:
Aircooled 911
Watercooled 911
Boxster
924/944/951/968
914
928
Cayenne
And break those up by Cars FS/Wanted, Parts FS/Wanted
Then General Classifieds:
Wheels/Tires
Electronics
Misc
Vendors Only
Adding the categories isn't much work is it? Is there any reason to keep the existing classifieds where
they are? Am I not seeing the whole picture?
PS: When I brought the idea up before, I suggested using a "gallery style" classifieds section like I'd seen on another board...
https://rennlist.com/forums/rennlist-forum-glitches-post-them-here-test-posts-are-permitted/165733-interesting-new-classifeds-format.html
...but even just a regular "message style" like each of the current discussion forums have would work fine.

I can see the "Classifieds" on top left hand of the screen but it will not open for me. I am running XP Home with Norton, AVG and SpamSubtract. Surelt I should not have to shut down all my protection to access the classifieds?
