Bosch cap and rotor $108.12. Ouch.

Said they were cheaper last month.

I am selling a TON of stuff overseas due to a weaker dollar. When the cost of shipping exceeds the cost of goods and it STILL sells? That's a weak buck.

Ouch indeed! I know how it feels though, but dont worry there are still places where you dont have to give up an arm and a leg for parts.

check us out next time you plan on purchasing,I couldve let you had it for 85.00 shipped! considering your a rennlist member

It was a spur of the moment thing, 3 1/2 years ago when I got the last one it wasn't nearly that bad, I thought maybe $60 or so.

Next time I'll check with you. Thanks

i dont think that price is for THE 944S, maybe for the 944, but noT the S, the ignition rotor and the cap in the 944S is a bit diferent , in design and price.

I don't have time or the facilities to mess with it. Covered parking in apt. complex.

I bought it as a father son project, it had no spark and hoped it to be and easy fix. Now it also has no compression on all 4 so I'm not going there. Who knows if I fix that it may still be a $ pit.

Funny part ids that the PO had the head done and then bent the valves w/o starting it and dumped a bunch of money into it on other parts.

He started out wanting like $1800 for it and Chris talked him down to $650 then didn't want it so I got it.

Sigh...soon to be sold or a parts car when it warms up.
