The way I see it, the car is an extension of yourself (or at least mine is for me, it's broken, I'm sad. it's happy, I'm happy)
So if he killed your car, you must do the eye for an eye thing, and kill him. simple. I've got a machette you can borrow.

Wow... I can't believe what he did to your car. I get pissed when someone leans on my car, I can just imagine how I would feel if someone did this to my car. I would be pissed beyond belief. If I were in your shoes, I would get the family together and tell them what happened and they tell them either he goes or you go. Its that simple. If this doesn't work, definately press charges. If he has never driven the car before, and you can find his prints on the key... then you should have something to lean on, but i'm not a legal expert at all... now if you ask me about the fourier transforms of a given electric signal I might be able to help... lol.. but seriously... take him out back and shoot him...

Ok I have a solution that would require help from fellow Rennlisters. Does anyone remember the scene in Full Metal Jacket when private pyle I believe snuck in some doughnuts into his chest and evryone had to do situps because the drill seargant punished evryone else. During the night after he fell asleep everyone he hurt beat the snot outta him. Well that's where fellow listers come into play. Anyone reading about this ******* has a right to beat the snot outta this guy too. We all hurt as much as Silverbean. So fellow listers lend silverbean a sock full of bars of soap and law down some street justice.
(Disclaimer: I don't advocate violence in the solving of this matter but I would understand why said beating would occurr.)

OK kids, time for a reality check! It is just a car. The justice system doesn't care much about property damage. The justice system does care a lot about vigilantes, and people taking the law into their own hands.
Beating a poor unemployed man to a pulp because he accidently did some minor damage to an old imported four cylinder car..... somehow the rennlisters will be looking up at the judge hoping for mercy.
There is an abyss in the justice system, just like there is on rennlist. Advocating violence over a balance shaft belt and some plastic will only get this thread sent to the abyss.
Bean's issue with his uncle is between him and his uncle. Time to take a deep breath and move on, nothing to see here.

No i don't think it was coincidince. I just did my belts, pump and all my front seals about two weeks ago. Everything properly tensioned. The thing is that he used a lot of gas and didn't go very far, the parking brake was on and when i went out at 8:30 in the morning the defrosters were still defrosting. He took it out several hours prior too when i saw it in the morning. I figure he drove the hell out of first and second gear. Imagine trying to stay at 45 in second!??!?! he probably was red lining constantly and over heated the hell out of it. If this is the case,who has an s2 motor the wanna sell me. I is gonna upgrade!!! Lets forget about the uncle because we have all come to the consensus that he must die. In time, fellow fanatics, in time. For now, my baby needs to be repaired and back on the road where she belongs!!!!!
