New exhaust!!!
Alrighty...if you remember about a week ago, my exhaust was ruined by a moronic tow truck driver... Today, the exhaust was fixed... they salvaged the exhaust from the header to the cat, after that, they tossed on a 2.5 inch pipe to gimme back some torque when I went up to 3 inches... they also put on a 2.5 inch resonator and a new exhaust tip. they found a way to salvage the muffler.
so, here are some before and after pics... I couldn't find one of the old exhaust from head on, but it looked like it was pulled off of some ricer's honda... now, IMHO, it looks pretty good..

sounds good. Resonator is whatever the muffler place put on it. (I didn't take it to Midas...screw that). However my muffler is a magnaflow. the resonator WILL NOT take away the raspyness...mines still raspy as hell, but it's just a little quieter...

thanks! Yeah, I lost a LOT of torque with the 3 inch, but gained some top end HP... that's measured on the "Geoff's butt" dynomometer...
It now feels like it has a little more torque, and the top end HP still appears to be present cuz it's a mutt exhaust...3 inches to 2.5 from the cat back...

Hmmm...maybe...I'm not so much a fan of the "slowly rusting" color it has now...not to mention the "baked on Ate super blue brake fluid" look from when my clutch slave cylinder ate sh*t...
that does look really good...what do I need to do for prep?

xsboost, is there any type of clear coat or enamel you would spray on after painting? I would think the paint would get chipped and scraped off over time no? Im considering painting my headers because they literally just look like four rusted pipes...looks like alot of work to do however. I would assume just sanding the hell out of it till the layer of rust came off?
And some of you really need to grow up with this little fight your having. I dont see why you care so much with what someone else thinks of you over the internet.
