Default polyurethane motormounts?

polyurethane motormounts? Anyone make them???

I do not want to go with solid mounts but some nice polyurethane mounts for the tranny and the motor would be nice... Anyone know if you can buy them?

I have been looking at the Lindsey super mounts but trying to figure out if 500.00 is worth it over stock mounts (race car application).

I'm currently sitting in our race shop office while about four engineers/fabricators are arguing about whether or not you could manufacture them yourself. It may not be that hard, and making custom parts for your car is really fun.

I think this is freaking retarded... Why can they not make a good Motor mount for our car for cheap? My friends have huge amounts of fabrication from there aftermarket companys in there mounts yet they do not cost $250 for each mount...

I am thinking for $250 I will make my own mounts and undercut the market.

Better yet, use OEM mounts. You realized youre not going to get much of a gain from these mounts...only more vibration and discomfort.

Wait...500 bucks? Is it even a question?

I dont know I use to think that there would be little change with motormounts but after doing motormounts in all of my friends cars we all noticed that there is a huge performance gain in almost all aspects of the car. None of them have had the transmission in the back though and that makes me a little nervous as I might have to swap out the rear mount for something custom to really see the benifits.
