Default 951/44/24 gtg in Indy...

What do you say? I know there are enough of us in the Indy area to make a decent crowd, and everyone's welcome if you can make it. Probably at Moondog Tavern on 96th again, but I'm open for suggestions. I'm free this weekend, but it might be too short notice for some, and most of us will probably be busy next weekend. If need be, we can hold it the first weekend in Dec (3rd-5th). As long as we can beat the snow...

Im just gonna throw out some names of possibly attendees:

You, me, Mark Szalaiy, Rick, Max Newman, Antonioali, the new owner you mentioned, Guys in Cinci if they wanted to have a nice little drive, we could also post it on the 928 board - they recently got together at Champs..we can easily keep this 944 only though.

And Im fine for this weekend or Dec 3-5, but Ill be in Evansville over Thanksgiving.

Damn! The 12/3 weekend is out for me. I could do the 12/11 weekend but that is tempting the weather gods.

I'm gone on break and will be back in PA for the next couple weekends... I'm definately down for a get together on the 11th, but could we do it some place under 21 friendly?? We could do something like go-karting at Fastimes . It is on the north side right off 465 at the Keystone Ave exit. It is an incredibly fun experience. we go all the time. Theres aren't any panzy go-karts... we're talking 40+ mph on an 2 level indoor track.

We should also try and get some of the indy 993 guys to come... show them who the superior drivers are.

Moondog is super close to fast times and should be under 21 friendly. Ill call them tomorrow. And I think eating then going to Fast Times would be a blast. I went a few weeks ago and its amazing how sore and tired/sweaty you get...its not your average go-karts. Good idea wombat...

I'm up for it depending on the date. I'm busy this weekend and next but should be available the first weekend in Dec.

btw, Micah might be in town by that time, I'll give him a call.

Fast times is a blast and someting that can be very addicting...especially with car nuts. I was actually taken there on one of my bachelor parties. I x-posted this to the 928 board, but it's getting buried pretty quickly. I'll PM Rick and see if he knows anyone in the Indy 993 crowd that would be interested.

I'm in depending on the date that gets chosen; I'll be gone several weekends between now and the end of the year so will hope things work out when I'm in town.

Looking forward to some fun...

Ok, it looks like we've narrowed it down to 2 weekends: Dec 3-5 and Dec 10-12. As Pete mentioned, we might be pushing our luck if we go with the 10th-12th. If it were up to me, I'd be game for meeting a couple of times. If we go to Fast Times, I'm sure some of you will want to go back as well (rematches maybe?). For those of you who are in pending a time, is there a preference for a day on the weekend of the 3rd-5th? If there's enough interested that can't make it that weekend, I'm totally fine with a 2nd run on the 10th-12th. So, if you're in, what is your preference?
