Default clutch sticks to the floor

Its happened a couple times to me before. The clutch would stick close to the floor and I was able to just pull it up with my foot. Now it seems to be on the floor and almost no room for me to stick my foot underneath and pull it up. I have to know literally get out of the car and reach for the pedal and pull it back and it springs back to place. Is the somewhere where I have to lube or grease up on the pedal for this to not happen. Thanks in advance.

You have either air somewhere in the like down to the clutch slave cylinder, or a leaking clutch slave cylinder.

If the slave cylinder is leaking, it's just a matter of time before it totally fails, then you can't put the clutch in. Remove the clutch inspection hole plug and see if there's any brake fluid inside (there shouldn't be).

Slave Cylinder is not functioning. Recommend replace slave and master, once you have tried bleeding the system.

nope, the master for the clutch does feed fluid off of the brake system though.

As far as air in the system would the rubber grommet missing cause these problems. The ididots at jiffy lube lost it I wonder if that why I'm having these probs. So definately not the pedal itself that needs lubing.

Why in the hell are you taking your car to a jiffy lube. Those guys are idiot's. Do your own oil and lube changes trust me...less hassle in the end.

I have to agree...DO NOT EVER take your car to Jiffy Lube, or Mr. Lube or Mr. Wash...in fact no one who services cars for minimum wage should EVER be allowed to touch your car.
