Dunno man, still waiting on the parts. The next one for me might be the PCA autox. I think CSCC has one early in Oct, I think the 3rd. Riverdowns is always a good one, just gotta pay the SCCA fees...

Not sure if I will be there or not. Depends on a few factors. My friend whose car I was driving is leaving for Europe soon, and I don't know if he will be there or not. Also, my father-in-law is coming to town next week, so I don't know if I'll be able to get away from the cleaning fest that will be my house this weekend.
River downs is an interesting place to race at.. I had never raced there before last weekend.
It was set up as a fairly quick course, with a lot of loopbacks. It was pretty confusing, and several people got off course, or spun because they were not following the route closely enough.
Lots of good competition though. Jeremy Popp was there with his vette, and took FTD. He even beat the formula cars that were racing.
I wonder if the race will get cancelled or posponed though, because of high water issues. I know riverbend had to cancel a concert for this weekend due to water, but I don't know if the parking lot will flood or not.

Yep, River Downs is fun. Its a huge lot, but there is a lot of sand on the lot that helps make it slick. Then there are the suttle camber and elevation changes that help make you spin in the right areas. Then finally there is the sealed asphalt that is kinda slick. All in all though, it is a fun lot to run on, lots of speed possible.
Danny Popp usually does take FTD in whatever Vette he is running. Now that he has that slick Blue Z06, he is a stupid fast. It is always a joy to watch him run. When I checked the results this year, looks like he only got 2cnd at Nationals this year...oh darn He is a 4 time national champ.
