Got mine taken apart. Now where should I get the replacement from? Any recommendations will be appreciated.

I think the OEM from the dealer is just as good, if not better. Besides, we all know PCNA will be around the next time you need the boot replaced.

Watch ebay, you can pick one up for about $37 on an uncontested auction direct from AGLA.

Travis has them at Rennbay.com

No, it's just the leather boot, the **** is seperate. I've got one that I need to put on, but it looks about as easy as trying to pull your bottom lip over the top of your head.

I've always wondered how it fits together. As I understand it, the leather comes up and over the top of the ****?... Mine is so worn out, the leather ends before the ****, and has many holes in it.
Does somebody have a good picture of how it fits together?
I've been thinking of replacing mine for quite some time now.

AGLA will affix the boot/****/cap for you.

I bought an AGLA boot and they are sending me the professionally assembled piece. Should arrive this week.

Oh yeah, there's no charge from AGLA for assembling the stuff! I've no affiliation with AGLA, but they seem to offer a high quality product and they really cater to Porsche owners. Customer service is good too.

I've got the Rennbay boot and it went on rediculously easily. So easily, in fact, that I still wonder if maybe they sent me the wrong boot, based on what you all say about it!

I also found it helpful when tucking the top of the boot under the plastic cap thingie to hold the cap gently over where it is supposed to go and use a small flat-head screwdriver (or something similar) to gently push the boot under the cap. Once it's all in there, work it around to get rid of the wrinkles (something I didn't do ) and then press the cap in place.

I can help you out with this if you want.

BB.
