Default SoCal guys- want a 951? Ebay sighting....

During my search I found this- someone may want to take a serious look at it.. It's out of my geographical search area- looked like a decent buy for somebody.

thanks for pointing it out, I am looking for a second car, but that ebay car does not meet two requiremnets. 1) not another 944 and 2) something i can rely on, and cheap parts would be nice too...

Don't like red cars so much... There are cheap 951s (>$4000)that pop up every once in an while, usullay when you: a. don't have the money at that exact moment, or b. not in the best shape or preferred color.

Deni- I have grown accustomed to Red!! the rest is completely true. I cant believe how many I have had to pass up over the last year

This 951 looked like such a bargain. (If the hard luck storyu is indeed true..)

The smoking issue is the only thing that keeps me from bidding it up higher....

Is he right when he says thats common for a 951, or would that be something to do with the head that needs to be repaired immediately?

Still, the car may go up higher and if it does, it's just better to find one without smokin' issues (ahem, even though I like to smoke). You'll be paying the same price AND you have to do repair work. Of course if you're a 951 genius and you have to have a red 951, then there's no stopping until you win it. Being a colorful guy that I am, my preferences are (in no order): white, grey, dark green and black. Craigslist.org always has smokin deals come up, most of the people posting adverts for their cars have no stinkin' idear.

Like the guy who sold his 89 951 in Sacramento for $4500 last week?
