Default Tire Selection

Please post any info on these tires that you know of. So far, I'm leaning toward the ES100's.
Anything will help!
Thanks,
Ryan

Just had the ES 100's put on. Huge difference. Very quiet tire. Corners well....and you can get them in the prescribed 215 x 60 x 15 stock size... if you're trying to keep everything stock spec. Still not had the chance to "experiment" in the rain, but I've been told they are superb. They are my vote.

So far I love my Yoko ES100's. Very good grip, good wet traction and nice and quiet.

Hey Matt, I was poking around on Tire Rack's site yesterday and was looking at the Fuzions. Why are they so cheap? Are they a good tire?
I'm planning on RE-750's but these are a lot cheaper. I'll probably stick with the Potenza's but I was just wondering.

Pete - they are our first attempt in that market. I think the product is great but I dont know if I would go from the RE750 to it. When compared to Kumho712, Toyo FZ4, etc there is really no comparison. It is hands down a better tire. PM Dave, he had RE730s before the Fuzion. He has written what he thought about the change here before but you might be hard pressed to find it. I have not heard very many (no) complaints about it and I am usually the very first to hear them from this group

James above just got his, dont know how often he has been in town to drive them but he could also give you some impressions.

Thanks Matt. Geez you're never very far away from a tire topic, are you?

Hey, we all have our ways to contribute, right? I am headed to California to do some testing the middle of next month. Exciting stuff, couple of days in the Valley.

Matt is probably the best tire expert we have on this board. Hey Matt is it true the S-03 rates almost as well as a Kumho Victoracer track tire? I forget where I heard that...

Dave, you would have to ask someone who has driven both on track. I find it hard to believe that a treaded tire would be as fast as a shaved one though.
