Question 968 ride height? detuning the suspension

Hi,

I've just acquired a 1994 968. It has been tweaked with Weltmeister 200 lb springs, upgraded roll bars, Koni Yellow sport shocks, lowered and is wearing 18 inch rims in back with 265/30 Pirelli P zeroes.

Frankly the car rides rougher than I like and I would like to 'detune' the suspension to make it more supple and quiter.

Here are my questions...

1. How can I tell what setting the rear shocks are set to? I have dialed back the fronts to their softest setting and would like to do the rears also.
2. How can I tell if the car has been lowered and whether it is an option to raise it back up?
3. Will I ever get any kind of serious improvement without a tire change or spring change?

Thanks for the help.

Phil
