Good deal, then can I enter?? The GT1 is the only "hacked" (i.e. totally F*CKED dynamics) car in my version.

Well, things aren't looking too good for me as far as the competition goes. I finally made some time to practice tonight, and my wheel and pedal set just isn't cooperating with me. I can calibrate the wheel in Windows, but when I get into the game, it is not recognized. This had never happened before.... I hope to try a few things tomorrow, such as reinstalling the game and/or wheel software. Shoot, I might even re-install Windows. (It's not as bad as it sounds, since it is just my gaming Operating System (Win98 SE), of which I have a ghost image). Hopefully, I can get the wheel problems resolved soon. If not, I guess I'll just miss out on all the fun. Hmmm.... if all else fails, I guess I could try to use the keyboard... I used to use one all the time for Test Drive 2 back in 1989 (the one with the F40 and the 959). Did anyone else used to play that?

You running two operating systems on that one computer? or is that just your gaming computer?

Maybe you should just use keyboard like me... i got a 3:06 on that track and car in qualif's last night.

Where is the scores so far by the way?? didn't get a chance to update the site yet?

I REALLY need to see what line you guys are taking. I can't seem to break 3:20, and I'm not that bad of a driver. When we've raced in the past, I've usually been able to stick close to Rich.

A: Operator: Screen shots are not adequate. part of the point of doing qualifying is to see who is able to commit to come to a fair amount of races, and that there is actually someone there to witness the time. There is no difference between making it to a qual session and making it to a race!!! Sending in a screenshot is just not the same. Besides, if you pull a really low time in a qual session with me, no one can question it, whereas a screenshot leaves the door open for arguements and headaches.

B: Kevin, go get the CD if you want to compete. If one of your cars are noticably hacked, it's more than likely that others are too, and you just don't know it. Not to mention, there may be other unknown compatibility issues.

C: Brad T: We quit a bit early. just before 7pmPST or 10pmEST I believe.

D: Brandon.. thats a perfect example of why I thought we should have live qualifying sessions and not just throw in screen shots. it gives everyone and opportunity to see my lines and other ppl's and try to keep up.

It's not that I think that anyone here would cheat, but I'd rather have a system in place where no one can even be accused of it because the opportunity is not there to do it. (instead of leaving it on an honour based system and then having the slower people complain..)

Last night was fun. I didn't think I'd be able to handle that many runs at Pyrenees, but it's a really enjoyable track when you get it 100% right. And even at 3.05.05 in the 550 spyder I saw places where I could improve my time. I'm amazed and impressed that Devon was able to keep up so well with just a keyboard.

I'll give you guys one good hint though. Keep your eye on the speed and gear during the first section with the fences, where you go through this kinda down hill up hill section, and later on when you pass the Winery and go under the aqueduct: Sometimes staying in 4th gear is 10mph faster than switching up to 5th gear and boggin down. Try it!

No, I know, campeck was complaining about 11:00 est... and it ends then, not starts. He can race for an hour before his bedtime.
