Ashton - I'm just updating the site so some bits are going to dissapear and reappear in the next little while. Also - You need to stop DNFing. You had 6 DNF's out of 9 races. Follow through. Practicing with a crippled car is still practicing! plus it will encourage you not to crash. You're actually really quick, you just need to slow down BEFORE entering the corners. I always see you sliding wide

I find it helps to ignore the cars in front of you. If you try to follow them, you'll get screwd up, because if they make a mistake or take a bad line, you will follow them right into the wall!!

 

Good news! I got my laptop back today (only took 48 hours!) i know its amazing. So i'm back in the running and ready to race again!

 

I think I'm on the verge of falling out of the tournament.

What's the schedule going to be like after the Cup race?

 

huh? I'm not sure I understand.. can you elaborate?

 

Is this a once a year cup, or will the schedule follow something of a Forumla 1 Grand Prix (ie. every two weeks there is a race).

I think it would be awesome to keep it going all year round and build a nice roster.

 

Hmm cool idea. I haven't planned that far ahead yet. Since I'm pretty confident of myself and a little cocky, I'd be happy to up the first place prize and do another tourney again.. but we'll see what happens after this one...

I'm planning on another session tonite.. so hopefully we'll have a full pit we can figure out what people's scheduales are and such.

 

Well. there i sa whole "season" of races for this tournamnet,, its not just one race.

I wasn't necessarily thinking of prizes, but maybe every number of races we could come up with something. That way it’s more affordable

 

yeah I mean it will probably take at least 5 weeks to get through all the race sessions... each session having 3 races.

I would love to be able to get more than 8 cars in a race though.. that would kick ***.

I agree, 8 racers is a silly limitation. At the moment I'm trying to get in touch with someone who had access to the dedicated server software to run a Porsche Unleashed server.

Hopefully I'll be able to get it and set it up for you guys.

 

one of our own rennlister's was with EA when they produced NFS: PU. I should ask him if the coders have any free time to make a patch.. although I doubt it.

 

That would be great. Maybe you can ask him about the server software too? Incase the guy I'm chasing doesn't have it anymore.
