Man, I think I opened my mouth a little too quick... you guys are damn quick in that 550 pyranese qualifying. Maybe there's a shortcut I haven't found yet... only pulling in 3:07's after an hour of practice. Gotta get more practice time in today!

If you're pulling in 3:07's you're doing okay. you'd have bumped at least one guy off the qualifying list with that time.. but can you do it again with me in the race to verify it?

actually, if you really want to get faster, you should try joining a session to see everyone else's lines. that and 4th gear is usually faster than 5th in that car on that track.

Well it's only been an hour of practice . A few more should clean up the lines in some trouble areas where I'm forgetting the corners.

One question... what alternate "off road" paths do you take? I don't take the first one in the forest section, but I do take the 2nd one (right hander through that barn tunnel), as well as the 3rd one that's between the bridge pillars. Is it faster to stay on the road?

I take the bridge pillars, don't take the first one, and I find that I end up slower if I go through the barn.

After the start line, stay left. Also, DON'T take the winery, it is slower. Always go under the aquaduct as it lets you go extra wide. As a reference, I can hit 112mph under the aquaduct (using the digital speedo readout - not the analouge one..)

Rich,

Don't bother - I'll drop out as I really don't have the time to get involved with this. Good luck running the tourney though, a great idea!
