Gotta loce what serge944 said. I was working drive through and some guy in an 86 guards red 944 na rolled up and i talked to him for abotu 5 minutes then took a smoke break and we checked out eachothers cars. That was fun. I always wave at older 911's and all the water cooled. Any guys driving new p cars are righ *** holes who couldn't find a dipstick if their life depended on it. I once got a wave in a neighborhood where this guy has a 951 set for racinf with decals and all, a 944 that he is fixing up annd in the garage, a much newer 911 turbo, its sexy!!

I always wave to 924s, 944s, 968s, and 928s. And older 911s, 912s, and 914s. Not a big wave, but like a tip of the hat and a nod.
For Boxsters, 993/996, and peppers, I wait to see if the driver looks at me and then I wave. More often than not they aren't up for it.

I no longer wave to any of the p-cars in my area. As they never seem to wave back. I used to get waves from another 924S in my area and became pretty friendly with the guy. But he sold his car a few months ago. All the other 944 drivers in my area look at me funny when i wave...so i dont bother.
I did get a great thumbs up from a mid 90's 911 turbo. There was no mistaking the headlight foglight combo as it came up in my rear view mirror. He was enjoying the twisties just as much as i was. Older guy, id say in his 50's. Pulled up next to me and looked over with a big smile and a thumbs up. That time was freaken awsome.

I wave at any P-car not named after a pepper (can't tell they are P-cars until too late anyways). Best responses I've gotten were from a 993 and a 914.
Actually, I don't often see other P-cars whilst driving, and when I do, we are often accross a highway divider so easy to miss until too late... but I'm always looking.
