Pete hit it on the head. Its costs 3-4x as much to renovate than it does to buy the car already pristine. If my suby lease was going to be up soon, Id buy that car sight unseen, only because I trust the local peeps opinions. They know crap when they see it.

I must say I have an outrageous case of Turbo envy right now.... let me make some calls....my S + a little of my own cash could let me have this 951....

This is a great buy for someone, like many other people on the board I looked at my bank accounts and if they had more cash in them I would be flying to ohio to pick up the car ASAP......
I hope the car goes to a rennlister.

I agree that $8500 is a steal, as well. If this had been available when I was looking and the car is as described, it would have been an easy choice. I don't understand why it's been so hard for him to find a buyer.

Local buyers want SUV's or econoboxes and PCA types want 911's.

I just spoke to a person about buying my car, thus allowing me to get a turbo because of seeing this car. I really want this car but the 86 na must be sold to afford it. I want both! I feel like I am going to puke every time I think about selling my car.
