That is true I am sure he was just trying to help his friend out. But it does also suck real bad at the same time. All I can say is that i guess it was not meant to be.?????????

I am not "getting smart towards" xsboost. If a rennlister comes on here hocking a "buds" car for him and his "bud" winds up screwing over a fellow rennlister, I think xsboost has some responsibility in the matter, whether its just finding out what the heck really went on or whatever.....

Don said he sold it to the guy he got the car from. If he did thats great but we already had a price set and a deposit was sent on Saturday morning via overnight which he got today. He said he will send me the deposit plus the 14 dollars it cost me to overnight the money order. It still sucks real bad though. What can I do??? Like I said I guess it just was not meant to be.

i think legally if you sent him the deposit he has to sell you the car for that price, and if he sells the car then you are entitled to something, i would act fast w/ legal representation on this.

I believe even a one dollar deposit makes it a binding contract. I think Tom R. or MichelleJD will be able to give you an answer if you can get their attention.

Well, if he isn't there tomorrow, he may be at the next autocross event with Jeff, his significant other. One way or another I'll get a chance to bark at him...............

I just got this e-mail that he sent another rennlister....

Hey,

I was just wondering if you would like a copy of the e-mail the guy sent me about buying the 951? It dosen't say a whole lot but here it is:
just wanted to know if you got the pictures i already
have a guy who wants to pick up the car tuesday, but
because you were the first to call me about. i was wanting to know if
you were really interested or not
call me again to talk.

thanks Don

Hope everything works out!
