Default Parts Car on eBay

I totalled my 88 951 a couple weeks ago and would now like to sell the remains. Here is the eBay auction and a personal website with a better description and pictures. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Thanks,

What's the compression on the motor? I'm not interested, but others will be.

There was a guy on this board recently looking for a 951 motor. You should send him an email.

John,

Sorry to hear about your car. Looks like it was very nice before the accident. I hope you get something good to replace it. Good luck!

Did you get a good insurance settlement?

John, I feel your pain. I just wrecked my 86 944 that I babied since my father bought it new when I was 10. I thought it was dead, but its statring to look like I can save it. It's all about money at this point.

Covering the car with insurance is a wast of money. Just injuries. If the cost to fix is greater than the book value than they can consider it totaled. Which is a joke with the 944 since one part can sometimes cost 15% of the book value!

Once again, I feel your pain. It is a shame to see that happen to car that was so well taken car of.

No clue what the compression is, the insurance settlement was fair - I just challenged the ins co to replace the vehicle for their original settlement offer, and referenced CPI for a more realistic value. They then saw the light

I am fine - walked away without a scratch (Just a bruised ego!). The interior is Black.

Thanks for all the kind responses!
