FRONT ENGINE FEST UPDATED!!! PLEASE READ. HELLSGATE TRIP
FRONT ENGINE FEST!!
Ok guys here is the new itinerary. Step-by-step
1. We are all going to meet at the cloverdale SAFEWAY parking lot by 6am (August 28th).
SAFEWAYS address is 5710 176th str
Those coming from the stateside go through the Douglas border crossing and keep driving straight till you see Safeway approx 5-10min drive. The road you will be traveling on is 176the. As soon as you cross the border u are on this street. I can even meet you guys at the crossing at 5:30am and lead u to the Safeway mall. I assure you, you won't get lost. Just look for the 944s in the parking lot should be able to see them from the road no prob. Just PM me if u want me to meet ua there.
Those coming west and east bound from the #1 highway just take the 176the exit and keep driving till you see safeway. You will hit about 5 lights before you see it. Approx 10min drive. If any of you get lost call my cell 604-999-9742

2. Once we have all met up at safeway and get to know each other we will all take off to the albion ferry. Depending on the wait for the ferry we will wait for everyone to cross before proceding.
We must keep speeds to a minimal until we are out of the city. Street racing is taken very seriously out here, due to all the recent deaths.
3. From the ferry we are all going to take highway 7 to hellsgate. I have never been this way before so THE EDGE will take over the lead to hellsgate.
4. When we arrive at HELLSGATE we can eat!! There is a restaurant called The Salmon House. We should be seated by 9:30am and stuffing our faces.

I made reservations for 30ppl. We can get more seats if needed.
Another bonus I scored for us is private parking!! Hellsgate is going to reserve parking for about 25cars+ by sectioning a chunk of the lot it off with cones. So our cars will be safe.An employee by the name of Brian is helping us out. WOOHOO
Once we are done eating we can do a nice photo op!
The cost of the AIRTRAM is $13each to go up to the restaurant, but our good old buddy Brian is giving us a deal of $7each to go up! Have cash ready, not sure if they take debit or credit cards.
5. Ok guys this is where I leave you and Lance/Sandor/Ian takeover the trip.
Those of you who wish to come back to cloverdale with me may and those who wish to continue the big run and to see the launch of the 997 with the guys mention above may. One thing I forgot to mention, MCL has requested for people dress appropriately (ie. semi-casual, no t-shirts or ripped jeans).

No can do the 24th Travis - away that weekend ski racing on the glacier - you knew that!
BTW Brendan knows the golf pro at Furry Creek.... if you go early enough, maybe he can get an area set aside for photos

Maybe, I need to order/get clutch installed and sort out the camber problems. If it is complete I wouldn't be surpirsed if I could join, but nothing is for sure.
