Kinda OT Gonna be in Chicago
Hey, I'm going to Chicago for 2 weeks Aug 23 - Sept 3. Who's gonna be around? As I will have the weekend free in between. I'd love to meet some of you.

Yep, was going to go this weekend. If I can fit the exhaust in the car I will bring it to you. Mapquest says it is 42 miles from my place. I can pick Kevin up, his hotel is around the corner from my office.

MAtt how about that gathering we were talking about....maybe in a couple weekends at your place.....Or maybe meet sunday at Road America for the races going on....?

Well I'll be "riding" in a cab (taxi) from the airport to the hotel, where I'll be for the two weeks. Evenings should be free. If Matt is not too busy, maybe we can all meet up one evening for dinner.

Kevin, you have 1/2 of Saturday and all of Sunday off plus plenty of evening free time. The training center is minutes from my office (trust me, eat enough Ruby Tuesday and you will WANT to go somewhere else). I also know quite well the trainers, they sit about 300 feet from me (they were my trainers as well). We can certainly find some time.

Road America during that time:
August 27-28: Northwoods cobra club, fun to see a ton of Cobra's (most fake) run around the track.
September 3-5: PCA Chicago

About the races this weekend. If you have never been to the Brian Redman International Challenge you MUST be in Elkhart Lake by 5:00PM on Friday.
They parade a buch of race cars that are competing this weekend, parade them into town from the track and have a Concours De Elegance until about 8:00. At that time they fire up all the cars, drive them back to the track. Let's just say the drivers tend to show off on the way back.

WOW. Not only am I looking forward to this trip from a professional standpoint, but add that I'll get to meet some other 'listers and this is gonna be great fun too. Even if the wife decides to stay home for that weekend.
