Question ISO: Rear side carpet piece in black (see pic)

I can't seem to find this piece from anyone, anywhere. I need it for a 1983 '944 and I need it in BLACK. Does anyone know if this part is one of the ones still interchangable with 1985.5+ cars?

Please PM me or email me (ckathens@yahoo.com)

Good luck.

I've been looking for a good set of rear deck carpeting for about 6 months now. . .

oh boy....... that does NOT bode well for me.

But then again, I have Partsheaven just 30 mins away. I wonder if i can setup a "watch list" with them, so anytime they get something on that list, they call me first. Doubtful but I guess its worth a try.

Jason, you got PM.

Yes I believe I looked at them but their kit is aftermarket - translation: it will be poor quality (most likely) and will almost certainly not fit right. For now I just keep the rear hatch cover (the roll-up thingy) extended all the time to hide the crappy looking carpet and when I need to carry my bike or whatever in the back, I don't worry so much about messing the carpet up - so I guess it has its benefits to have ratty rear carpeting. . .

I'm saving up for a factory set, but It's going to run me about $800. Some people have said that they've used the spray-can stuff with decent results, but I tend to be even more skeptical of such "Pep Boys" solutions than I do about aftermarket stuff. . .

I just gutted my '88 924S. The interior was a 9.5 out of 10, all black. I am just getting ready to start parting it out on the boards. I don't know if it will work in your car or not.
