by the way cory, i had a close one on the way home. US31 is 55 in indiana, and 70 in michigan. the second i got in MI i gunned it to 79, as i was sick of going slow (you had a radar i only had my tired eyes). and well of course there had to be a cop on the side of the road. he got me no doubt, as i saw the light from the gun blink, but he did nothing. God i love michigan, that was the second time i have been going ten over on a highway and not been pulled over. now Ohio on the other hand sucks. i saw more cops there in two days then i have seen in michigan in the 5 years i have been driving.

If anyone wants this in full resolution, so they can crop, resize and make a racy avatar with Michelle, let me know........
If you don't see yourself by now, you probably weren't here........
And what is a Pcar function without Pcake......(John did not sanction this cake by the way. He warned me that it was not a "legal cake"; we were on the lookout for German attorneys)

Campeck, sorry to do this to you, dude, but it IS the 'Fest. I am not schooled in the ways of Photo Shop or I could have slipped a teddy bear in here (not that I would give anyone any ideas, that is....). At least, being close to my tent, you didn't snore all night! Your performance by Mrs. Kravitz's pond and the campfire ("Hey dudes, watch the fire....no man, just watch the fire.....") convinced me that you truly do RULE!
(Jeff reminded me, "He wasn't always evil....")

Enough of the funny stuff, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE CARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These four are my favorite shots.
For a cruise, that is a formidable view....Winslow in your rear view mirror.....
And the place where everyone stood, looking in awe, much like this (sorry Nabeel, almost cropped you out to get a bigger shot of the car)
Winslow, it was great talking with you too. But I don't think we talked about cars at all, huh? Politics, basic liberties, seat selts?

campeck and i had a good time after breakfest at McD's. i was showing off the Audi in a newly developed street. it was just paved and there were no houses. well going into the first turn my hot chocalate spilled all over me, ,and believe me it was HOT. well i was bitching and moaning and campeck didnt have a clue why. once he saw he laughed his as$ off we got to the end of the street and i stopped to clean up. well he threw what was left of it and he had to throw it up wind. it came back and splattered all over the car, even inside because my windows were open. i have vowed never to get a Mcd hot chocalate again.

And, of course, The "Grand Champion" Award winner........
Dan, I've got an '86 n/a and an '89 951 and I'll trade you both of them for this car. Both are in pretty good condition, great maintenance on them, only been driven back and forth to church by a little old lady......
(but the church is 1500 miles away, and she went to church at least twice a day.....)

Cool Wade, I like that last one, I can actually see myself (in the black) in awe over that amazing beast
We need Dan (xsboost) to post his little video of campeck waking up, funny stuff!
Wade, I still remember you roaring with laughter as campeck launched fireworks toward that old ladies house, truly a great moment at 944 fest
And... John D. it was great meeting you, "like shaking the hand of god" as Nabeel said, but how in the world did you end up making it home with all of those tools in the engine compartment???
