I've been searching for some 944 to 968 conversion parts for a long time.... I found some but they are all in fiberglass... The thing I really would like is a conversion part like this part but in carbon fiber :

hope it's possible...!

There is the weight savings spreadsheet (I didnt make it, just happened to have the link saved). I'd like to see carbon (late) dash, Widebody panels, 968 mirrors and Turbo S wing.

Wow - that's a great spreadsheet - my car is quivering in the garage now!

I was planning on doing the GT-Racing Front Bumper, Fenders and CF hood in Carbon Fiber. Just gotta wake up in time to talk to a sales guy. If you have competive prices i'll check it out. Or sponsorships

Actually, I don't understand why people pay a lot of money for these. They can be made from sheet plastic. In fact, a resiliant plastic like ABS makes a much better splitter than CF or FG because it's far less likely to break.

I've been thinking of doing something simular to that. I read an article awhile back about making your own. The only person I have talked to made his out of a high molecular weight polyurethane, which he said was nearly indestructable under normal use.

Ha - try using on a rally car! Yes, UHMWPE is very tough - but it's no match for a few (okay a dozen) rough stages!

For road use - it would probably outlast the car though.

Yeah, I'll probably make a small splitter for my car. But, I need something to lower the stock valance/airdam first (as well as leveling out the bottom). I've got a couple of solutions in mind, but have other things to work on right now.

Also the notes about fixed headlight buckets. I think guys like myself and Matt H would be more concerned with a quality job here vs low cost. We both realize to be done properly it isn't going to be a simple thing.

True.

You heard that backwards.

EDIT, but I see Sam already expressed that.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned this, unless I simply missed it:

RS style interior door panels, early and late for either manual or electric windows. I will buy early manual window version.

Also, I'd maybe pop for a bridge style spoiler and early dash.

Im not sure if this is a good application for fiberglass

but

3 gauge a-pillar - now for the odd part - the bottom gauge pod large enough to cut a slot for the valentine one remote display.

Hey its worth a shot lol

Thank you for all your suggestions and input!

We are in touch with a couple 944 enthusiasts here in LA and will be scheduling a meeting next week to study the car and see where we should start.

Ta address your concerns of cost and quality, we will be investing heavily in R&D to meet the standards of the cars. We are not looking to mass produce cheap parts. We adhere to the highest standards, especially when dealing with the high end market. Our prices will be very reasonable but you certainly won't see "ricer" prices on the parts we produce for this community!

Seeing as how a 968 Turbo wing seems to be one of the most popular items, if there are any members that has this wing and would like to volunteer it (local or not), please PM me. If it's damaged, needs repairs or needs to be repainted, we can take care of that for you. In order to complete this type of a project before the end of summer, it saves us a lot of time to have the piece from a member vs. waiting months for the actual factory piece.

We look forward to completing a few projects for you guys before this summer is over!

Not sure if this was mentioned as I dont want to read 70 posts, but if you replicated a rear oem EURO bumper, you would make big money. Probably sell hundreds. Anything stock in carbon fiber will be big sellers, anything outrageous and gaudy (rice) looking will be a waste of a mold and investment.
