Thanks for the DustOff explanation - makes perfect sense.
As for diesels, I just got back from Yoor-up and they were EVERYWHERE. BMWs, Mercedes, etc. I agree with TonD that we will see them over here soon. Our experience with diesels in the US are confined to Kenworth's, old sooty Mercedes and that abomination from Oldsmobile in the early 80's. And with regualr unleaded at 2.12/gallon up the street, and diesel at 1.69, it is only a matter of time...
Hey TonD, I didn't make it to Rotterdam, but Amsterdam is a beautiful city. Never seen so many bicycles in my life. Did the Rijkes and VanGogh Museums, took a canal tour and visited the red light district(!). High point of my trip was a big squishy hug from Gemma Glitter...!

Diesel is the way to go. The problem is people don't like the clakking or the black smoke, that is associated with old ones.
Personal story:
I was pulling my boat (22 footer) home with my families E-350 Powerstroke. I was stopped at a traffic signal, and a Honda or someother ricey thing pulls up next to me. The guy is looking over, like he is going to cut infront, when the light changes. Well, light goes green, I put my foot down, with radio and air condition on, and I hear this horrible buzzing that goes away then returns and finally a second or two after I hit the speed limit (55), RICER FLYBYE and cuts infront of me. LOL. It still makes me laugh, van and boat combined I was over 12,000 pounds, and this little under 3,000 pound rice car could not keep up.
SCular

@alpenweisisnice: No problem man, I didn't make it to Lexington either, while I was in the states a few years ago...had a great holiday though ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
BTW, I study in Amsterdam, and I think it's a nice city, although Rotterdam (which is where I was born 20 years ago
) is -of course- the place to be

TonD, I had 16 days that went like this: London-Paris-Stuttgart-Heidelberg-Amsterdam-Brussels-London...
Love the train system in yoor-up...We need to get something like that going in the states again...
