Default Need top AC compressor bolt

Title says it all- I need the bolt spec - IIRC it's a 13mm head- I dont know the length. My AC compressor top bolt worked it's way out and I keep shredding belts.. Anyone have the PET or bolt size/ specs?

BTW- I hear there is a 944 S2 being parted out- there will be a sale somewhere near Cinci.

I may have it. Is it the pivot bolt that the compressor pivots on, or is it one of the ones for the top of the bracket?

TOP bolt in the compressor, not the bracket- I forgot you were doing an AC delete buddy.. BTW You should see Pete's parts car.

Nope, the top bolt (that it pivots on), is the only bolt that must be retained for the AC delete option. I can measure my other left over bolts tomorrow morning to see if the one for the AC compressor is close for you.

Did you get the belt that I gave to Pete to give you?

If I don't have the bolt you need, I bet Scott Harrison does.

Yep- belt is on and tensioned- Thanks J. If you have the dimensions, that's all i'm looking for. I figured it was a (13mm head) 10mmx1.5 pitch, but I need the length.

Allright. Expect an email first thing tomorrow morning. I'll pull the bolt, check the length, and give you the length amount or the thumbs up from my spare parts cabinet..............

Chris,

I don't have an extra, but I measured mine for you. It's 4.5" long, thread is 10mmX1.5. Good luck!

Hmmm, can I get in on that? It doesn't look like this, does it?

I'll tell you what, find a set of 16" late phonedials with decent rubber on them and I'll swap.
