Would you be comfortable to share from where you purchased that hood pad set? The more I look at it the more I like it and I want to see if I can find the same (but for a regular 924/944 hood without the duct).

Yep. I bought them from seller willbill-kiel on ebay. Shipped from Germany. His patterns were perfect.

No affiliation.

it's very dirty in this picture but with the nice weather in this area, just had to get it out on the road. The alternator quit on me rather suddenly but beyond that, it's been virtually flawless. Need to track down some rattles here and there but have enjoyed the ride!

If that's dirty, you don't know what dirty is!

When I read the text of the post in my email notification, I was expecting to see a picture of a thoroughly mud-splattered car!

This color combo is so nostalgic, and it looks terrific with the stone wall and wooded background.

Nice job, I just got mine back from a shop that helped me restore/replace the fuel tank and fuel system after sitting for 6 years. I love this car just makes me smile eyerytime I look at it I am sure you understand after all the effort you put into yours😀

The ugly stuff that came out of my gas tank, guess not a good fuel to have car run on.😀

Thanks, John. I really get somewhat obsessed to have everything work as it should.

Luckily the colors hide a lot!

Thanks! I was heading out for a trail run and couldn't help doing the "turn around" after I parked. The parking lot was full, I got lucky with a prime parking spot

So many people complicate their work by turning the key of a car that has sat without draining first! Imagine all that crud being pumped thru the CIS.

It would be nice to see another running 931 park with me!

BauerR-are those Euro bumpers? I have a similar 1981 with severe clearcoat peel that's about to head for paint. It has a rebuilt title and I am going to have some fun with it and go Magenta (karminrot Porsche 009)

Yup, euro front and rear. I just went a little extra and removed the rubber strips that would normally be found on the euro rear bumper.
