This might seem like a dumb question but i am confused. I always thought when painting the tail lights, you paint them from the inside. But some guys on here say that i could paint them while they are in the car. There is a black cover over the inside that will only come off if the taillights are removed. So which side do i paint on the outside or in? Thanks

Not planning on doing it .. but .. has anyone had the Testors paint on their tail lights for an extended period of time?
Just wondering how it holds to the elements?
Also, what color do you use for the white or clear lense look?

it holds very well. I had it on mine over winter with no problems including all the salt and junk. also i removed the paint from my reverse light cells and it was really hard to do. that stuff is really really on there if you put it on right.
