Sorry to hijack the thread but I want to know too.

I'm getting a set of four new Pilots put on this week - I'll let you know how they are.

215/60 R-15 are the stock size for them I think. I'm pretty sure CC's and PD's are both 15x7, though. You could consider bumping up your size to 225/50/15, to give a few more options to look at.

The 924S phonedials are 15x6 late offset with a stock tire size of 195-65-VR15. the 15x7 PD came on the 944's, 16x?? came on the 944 Turbos i think. Not sure about that.

we have 15x7's. it's great. summer tires are so much harder to turn the wheel cuz their so wide.

I was seriously considering getting Kumho 712's, but after reading many threads on the subject, most people seem to think Kumho's are garbage and I shouldn't bother...besides, for only a bit more per tire you can get the Yoko ES100's...

I had Kumhos, but didn't get to use em...I 'broke' em in with my new wheels....and A-arms...yeah. fun times...

BTW, if you EVER get the opportunity to hit a curb at 60+ MPH with all 4 wheels, i'd advise you not to.

I'd go for lower profile than 60. I'm running 50 and most driver-ed addicts here are even lower. Tighter control.

Bridgestone makes a lot of very fine tires.

I got my Kuhmo Exsta V700s in 225/50-15, won't make those mistakes again! No more Kuhmos or 225/50s for me. Go with a Bridgestone product, I have RE-730s on my 16" Fuchs and have run 3 (OK, 2 and change) seasons of autox and 3 years of street driving and they still have some life left in them. They also out handle the POS Kuhmo R-compounds. When they go they'll be replaced with either RE-750s or S03s, neither of these is available in your size but I'd be inclined to give the RE-950s a shot. I notice theres a G009 (IIRC) now too, might also be worth looking into.

I also really like the RE730's on my 944S2 for the street! Before I got into R-compounds for autox and DE, they held up really well at the autocrosses I attended.

Stopped by my local Bridgestone store the other day, asked about the new G009's He didn't even know about them or have any access to data on the computer yet. Anybody seen any specs/data on them yet? Are they out yet? Also what about Falkens?
questions, questions questions,
Bill
