I am somewhat new to the forum and need a little help. I am trying to find out what wheels fit on a 84 944. I am not having any luck with searching the list.
What is the offset I need to find, does anyone have any Cup wheels they want to trade for my orginal Fuchs? My wheels have been painted over with silver, but they still are in really good condition.
If anyone wants to trade, I am in the Portland area.
Any information on spefice wheels that will fit the 84 would be appreciated.
Go Freightliner,

Hey,
Any 911/986 wheel from I *think* 89+ will fit with spacers as your car is early offset...So if you want cups your gonna have to get replicas made in early offset or buy spacers. Not to be a dick, but chances are if someone has cups they have late offset, and your Fuchs wont work on their car![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

DO NOT trade your Fuchs for cup replicas!!!
Fuchs can be sold for $900+ (well over that sometimes) depending on size and condition. Replicas only go for about $225 each, new, so I don't think a trade is a good idea for you.
Value aside, this is still not a good idea, in fact it is a bad idea. Fuchs are lighter and stronger than real cup wheels and lightyears ahead of replicas as far as strength and weight are concerned. The weight of replica wheels will reduce your acceleration, handling and braking due to the addition of unsprung (and rotating) weight. Why would you want to downgrade?

I picked up a set of phone dials last year at Hershey...they are from an '86 Turbo ( last year of the 'early offset' I believe).....I love the way they look, but I happen to be partial to phones!

Thanks Mike, but no more car stuff 'til I get a job (not counting the new battery today), so no more wheels for me right now. Post the Saratoga and it'll go fast, I'm not a fan of them but there are enough 'listers that are to make it go quickly.

I believe my Fuchs are 15'.
I would be willing to trade them for Cup Replica's. I am not going to be racing, just going for a different look.
Anyone willing to make the trade. I have Pirrellis on there right now. We could trade wheels and tires...straight across.
Again, the PO painted them (no very well), but there is not any curb rash.
Does anyone know where I could find 4 used -18" Cup 2 Wheels in the Northwest???

Hey what's up,
I have an 86 944, the last car with the early offset...unfortunately we get the short end of the stick for wheels, without going to spacers...but, mille miglia is kind enough to make OEM replicas for us early offset 944 owners...I have Cup 1's, get those!
