i think we are both correct on this one. the site you found lists HP at 211 which is the european spec. We got a measly 208.

Tifo - also note that the Camaro is fiberglass bodied, which I am sure helps a little in the weight category.

I'm just saying that I wouldn't hesitate to "bastardize" (cause that's what it's apparently called) any 944 to the degree that it would blow any car on the road away.
I'm talking a heavily modded LT1, transmission and related beefed up, big friggin brakes (Renegade is supposidly coming up with a manual big brake kit), big fat tires, beef up the suspension... You could make one killer streetable track car, or trackable street car, whichever our prefer.
And that car would not only kill most anything in the straight, but also in the twisties.
However, as you can see from my sig, I'm putting a 3.0L in my 944 instead. So, who knows, right?

Now can you tell me the difference (performance) if I supercharged or turboed my S2 engine? Any idea on costs through a qualified mechanic?

Don't know what their prices are since it says to call on all their packages. Might be worth a look for you.
