Default COLD start

just wanted to get some opinions here.
I just finished getting my DD running, and the 951 has been sitting outside for about a month. Id like to now move the 951 into the garage, but now its snowing and the temp is 19* (24 hours ago is was 72!) So im debating if I should start it (BTW I have no idea what oil is in it)

Only if you’re going to run it for 20 mins or more to get it up to temp.

? I just want to start it to get it in the garage, I'd let it warm up for a couple min. im just afraid of the wear from all the oil drained off the top end, and the cold temps

itll get wear from the cold start either way. running it longer helps make sure everything gets re-oiled and crap burns out of the oil.

its only gotten colder since the first post, may as well leave it now.

Well, if you have 20-50 it’s at the low end of acceptable. If you must start it, pull the DME relay, crank until you have full oil pressure. Replace the relay and then start.
