SOLD. 87+ 944 2.5 "core" block for overbore or sleeving
Anybody need a block to bore over or sleeve? This is a 1987 944S block in great shape, ultrasonically cleaned at my machine shop. Bores are clean and smooth, but are out of round beyond specs. Will come with balance shaft covers and girdle, and can include engine mount brackets, balance shaft front bearing housings etc if desired.
Asking $200 picked up in Nashville, or Open to offers and can ship at added cost.
No special plans. I just thought it would be good to have a block as a backup for my track car. And I was close enough to Nashville (being at the Corvette Museum track) that Spencer and I were able to hook up pretty easily. We had a nice visit during the exchange.
