plenty of spin-outs with oncoming traffic, wrecked it in 2010 rearending an SUV, a guy ran a red light as i was starting off and got within a few inches of me...and many more ive forgotten.
best one was this because there's photos (and a video somewhere)

understeered into a ditch about 40mph and landed on a corvette fender in the hole, bumper into a hillside... this corner (in a Malibu canyon) has claimed plenty before, there were motorcycle mirrors and anonymous car body parts in the ditch too. the police/fire weren't called by me or my group - they were actually on their way further down the road where someone had a more serious crash when they stopped to check on me.

luckily a guy in a Raptor was driving by and yanked me out with the tow strap i always carry, only damage was the pictured scratches. car started right back up and the hoonage resumed.

Brake pedal went to the floor at Turn 6 at Road Atlanta. I managed to get half way through the turn before going off on the grass and having a soft landing with a Jersey barrier.

I spun at Kil-Kare raceway in 2004 in the first AX with my car after the restoration. I was less than inches from the guard rail. Many here witnessed... several of us had to change our shorts. I had an in car video of it on the old Type951 websites. Maybe I'll find it one of these days.

Not sure how good it was... at least didn't turn out like that fella with the nice Sunbeam Tiger.

Nothing major. Last weekend.

Wait for it... wait for it.. Could have been much worse!

Two weeks ago I had just left the house and had barely gone three blocks when the car stalled. Tried restarting it and smelled gas. Pulled over and popped the hood - gas everywhere. A fuel line split and dumped gas all over the headers and shock tower. I had a 3' puddle under the car. If the car had been hot, game over.

The night before my First DE when I was 25.... was psyched to go to the track... was in a turn on the street that rose up at the apex and was on full boost... the rear end just let go when the car unloaded... was able to "catch" it but my heart was in my throat.. about 4ft ditches on both sides... My buddy witnessed it and said "That looked so cool you drifted that corner" to which I replied.. "I didn't mean to do that" … Thank god these cars are so balanced...
