IMHO, I agree with joe. clean cars with no stickers look best. I HATE dealer advertising on licence plate frames. I love rennlist, but I don't think it looks good plastered across the front of my car. just my opinion. I would be more than happy to affix a "rennlister" licence plate frame to my car, though.
I think the only cars that look good with the "porsche" decal above the windshield are the stark white or fully decaled race cars, like the GT1's and GT3 RS cup cars.

I always thought that the Porsche name carried a certain amount of cache with it, and am more a fan of "less is more" for these cars. A kind of understated class. Racing stripes, hood scoops, decals, and loud exhausts may be appropriate for 70's muscle cars, but I think they generally detract from the Porsches. Unless you are running a track car, that is.
Of course, if everyone kept their cars stock, what a boring world this would be!

well being in the sticker business i put one on...only thing is mine is reflective so it lites up at nite...looks pretty sick when that happens...call it rice call it what u want i do it to personalize my car...end of story...if there are 10,000 guards red 944's out there...how boring would it be for these cars to all remain stock and unchagned...personalizing is one thing...rice is quite another...

IMHO - Not Rice, but very 80's.

The words "brightly colored" made it ricey. I saw one like you're talking about in memphis that was a dark gray (very subtle) and it looked good. It's was about 6 inches tall, and nice.

Rice - I don't think so. I've seen more full size p/u trucks with the Ford or Chevy banners than rice mobiles. So I wouldn't say it has rice origins at all.
Now do I personally care for it? No, but who am I that you should care about what I think, is the more important question!

I have a Teckademics banner on my 944 S2. They are the group the do all the mischief movies like the Gumball 3000 and Player's run. It's in silver graphite and looks very high end, not ricy at all. Also have one on my Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V.
However if you put something like ARP on the top, that's a different story. Just my .02

around here it's on the top list as far as getting illegalized.. all banners/decals are.
My opinion is.. put it on the front fender or your nose cone or something! or the back window. A much better spot, all your.. competitors... can see it then
