Default Phonedial color choice?

My current winter project is to repaint my faded 15" phonedials -- this is actually an old set that I can afford to play around with. They're all primered and ready to be sprayed, but I think it'll be alot more fun to repaint them something other than Wurth silver.

So the question is, what's a good color?

I borrowed some pics from earlier posts:

Anthracite (my 944 is also the same color -- but with the NA front-end):

Pearl white -- I think this was the Turbo cup style -- I'm actually very partial to this, but I suspect that it won't go well with my car color...

And then, there's the French orange -- my girlfriend actually likes this:

Any other ideas? I think polished lips would be a grerat look, but I don't have the patients to do it.

but I don't have the patients to do it. Then you need to run a different asylum!! :>) Maybe you are just short on patience. White wheels look really good if you like that look. I have a set of white D90s.

Yea, chrome would be nice, but I don't want to spend $$$ on these wheels.

I'm considering white now... Does anyone have a pic of white wheels on a dark color car?

On Phonedials, I'm partial to white! (Although, the silver with orange does look hot!)

My GF also says darker colors just look dirty, while lighter colors bring out the natural curvatures. But then, I'm not sure if I should listen to her because she says the exactly the same thing when it comes to women's shoes. And she still likes the orange.

Any more pics of white wheels on non-white cars?
