Hmm, now I'm looking at refinishing a set of mine. They're my winter/track wheels, so if they look bad that's okay.
Is it possible to polish them up to look like chrome, without the brittling effect of chroming them?
I thought that would look pretty sweet, or those ones posted earlier, with the chrome lip.

IMHO I think chrome PD's look like crap. In fact, I think most things that are chromed look like crap 
Black chrome might look ok, though I've never seen a car with black chrome PDs.
The Orange is very different, and strangely appealing to me on that silver/grey 951.
I love the look of the cup cars with their pearl white PD's myself.
Personally, I'm hoping to get Boxster S wheels in year to come.

I just finished painting a set of (4) 8"x16" phone dials white, I'll be putting some RA-1's on this week.
