As I mentioned in the previous thread - for anyone needing a night's rest before the big event who is coming from the NorthEast (the REAL Northeast - you know, where it's -10 degrees today!), My wife and I will be at our "family" place in far Western PA, only about 15minutes off Route 80, and likely not too much further on down the road to the fest. Keep in mind, no running water but the hand pump, no central air or heat! It's a great big ol' wide open spaces farm with 100+++ year old farm house on it! (I can see NO ONE wanting to take us up on the offer!)

As we'll have driven 800 miles to the Fest, I vote for a short, but SCHWEEEET group drive.

So, anyone interested, as I posted last time, just give me a heads up via
email a couple weeks before hand, or now, or whenever.

I can visit my dad while I am there as well...heh...
Will there be drinking? Highly unlikely, but in the event someone is, you don't have to!

Ummmm.. YEA, there will be drinking. Sat eve, probably lots of it. Of course you don't have to.. nor should you if you are underage or driving. You'll still have a great time laughing at the rest of us fools. People who drink too much and attempt to drive will be hanged and then shot... and then probably not invited to Fest 05.

Yep. If you need any help I'll be there whenever you need Fishey.

Drinking?? make mine a Dortmunder puh-lease..

Should I bring my 3 room tent?

It figures- a eastern going contingent caravan to Ohio and I'm not part of it this year.

This is gonna be decent. real decent.

Does anyone have a pic of Wade's hatch last year? He drove the official Miller Lite 944.
I have a tent but I think the ex will get custody of it.

I'm not far away so I'll have room for anyone who doesn't mind sleeping on the floor.

944 Fest is 160 days away and counting!

Yep.. just expect to be out of the officail "944" picture though.. j/k.

I have a pic of Wade's hatch full-O-Miller somewhere..(11 cases Wade??!!) there should be more room in MY car for acoustic guitars and other "campfire stuff".

I think there should be an official "944 fest 2004" T-shirt. Maybe some "Event sponsor" and "Security" shirts as well. If you e-mail me some camera ready artwork (Andy has some GREAT artwork.. ) I may be able to print them where I work in my spare time...

I'll get to work on that this week.

I live in a suburb of chicago. I think it's about six hours for me. Not too bad. I definitely want to take it on a road trip sometime this summer.

Gee...I can help too...If you all recall, after the Porsche/VW reunion in Cinci last summer I offered to try to get the "significant others" involved. I think I mentioned having cucumber sandwiched and pedicures.... ):

Really....Chris and I will do what we can to help now that we're nearby.
