woke up this morning and went out to the garage and looked at my car, got pissed of again. But your right GOBOGIE it could have been worse.

I have a question, should i tell the insurance inpector that i do have a differant bumper that is going to go on the car? And i dont want a brand new fender if it doesnt have the texture on the bottom so i will most likely do the hunting for parts.

The texture on the fender is just undercoat, can be sprayed on any fender by any good shop. Seems to me 944online (ian's euro parts) carries the NA fenders as well, but again, try to go used, it is far cheaper.

I would say that you wil be changing headlight pivots as well, if not now, then soon. Check out your hood alignment, and if the headlight got pushed into the hood. The PO of my car rear-ended a truck at about 3kph, and it bent the nose panel, headlight cover, hood and fender, just little cracks and bends everywhere =(.
So, I feel for you.

i tried to turn the lights on today and they came up half way. The nose panel is jammed in to the light and prevents it to fully open. All the lights work though.

Sorry to hear about your mishap

I understand you have full coverage, so this makes it easier...

Sounds like you will need to get a few body shop quotes for the insurance company. Is there a way that you can persuade the body shop to include the cost of the bumper / parts that you already have? It may also be useful if you showed the invoice of the parts that you previously purchased...this will encourage the body shop to help you....and minimize any of their fears that you are developing a scam....

But you will also need to take note that some insurance companies may want to also source their own quotes....

In the end, you will have to sit down with the insurance company to negotiate a quote which will be accepatble to both parties.
